Wedding: Amber + Bob

Man, I just love sharing photos with viewers! Shot this wedding at Mission Hills Country Club by The Plaza in Kansas City, despite the gloomy/rainy weather, this place was still awesome! I second shot this wedding with Laura of Laura Kathryn Photography. When I signed up, I don't even need to ask the details, and I already know it's gonna rock. She just get all the cool clients!

Of course, this is no different. Amber and Bob are super nice, easy to direct, and made my job easy and fun! I did the usual collage (something I learned from Laura), hope you like them! Please feel free to comment if you like the photos. :)

Love them ring shots!

Wedding: Lisa + Luke

No real weddings recently due to the down season, but it's picking up again! I got to shoot this high class wedding with a new (to me anyways) photographer, Jim Sovanski of Sovanski Photography. His second shooter bailed out last minute, so I decided to help him out.

I think this is the most expensive wedding I have shot to date: high end golf country club, biggest limo I have ridden in, and really fancy reception dinner!

I got more wedding photos in the future, but here are some I'd like to share. Lots of photos!

Vote for me in the photo contest

I hope you enjoyed my last post of the rally race I went to! Turns out they had a photo contest that people can enter to win an autographed poster and a pair of shoes, so I am asking my loyal readers to help out!

It's super easy: Click the link, click the "5" below the photo, DONE! :D

VOTE PICTURE HERE

I would really appreciate your support! And this would be a boring post without a photo, so here is me and my baby at the rally race!

2010 100 Acre Wood Rally Race

2/27/2010 - Salem, MO

I love photography and I love racing, so when I found out that there was a rally race in my state (although 5 hours away), I decided to make the trip and see what kind of photos I can get. I must say, the experience was very exciting, and I hope to go again the next time they visit Missouri!

Photographer's Corner: I used the Canon 5D Mark II for my shots, and noticed that shots taken with the 24-70mm f/2.8L were somewhat blurred due to panning motion. However, the Canon 70-200mm f/2.8L IS had a second mode of Image Stabilizer that is made for panning, aka only stabilize the vertical motion. My keeper rate were significantly higher with the IS lens. So, come on Canon, make a 24-70L IS and I will upgrade! :)
