You may have noticed that slow in new posts, that's because I have been playing with doing videos now! I am still a photographer, but my Canon 5D Mark II has the capability to record HD videos, so might as well put it to good use right?
This video is probably the best one so far. It's some behind the scenes footage of a photoshoot for the KC Roller Derby teams, photographed by Phil Peterson. Since this was just for fun, I just walked around and recorded everything. The video is straight out of the camera, shot with the Canon 16-35mm f/2.8L and Canon 100mm f/2.8L IS Macro lens. Enjoy!

Carmen & Lauren (Chiefs)

Aww yes, new pictures! I met Carmen on a modeling site, and we agreed to do a shoot. Then she found another girl who came along for some group shots. Since it's close to Halloween, they dressed up as Chiefs cheerleaders! I really like the boots, they are pretty sexy... :)
Same as before, I used the 580EX II on camera, and the 580EX I on a tripod wirelessly. The sun was still very harsh, so I had to put their back to it and use the flash to light up the faces. I am really liking this two flash set up now!

Skater Boys
It's a sunny Sunday afternoon, not too hot, so I thought I'd grab the camera and head to this local skater park to check it out. I never been there before, so thought I could scout for the next shoot location. But when I got there, there were some kids on the court already, so I changed my mind, and thought, I could use some variety in my portfolio anyways! These kids agreed to the shoot, so here some good ones.
