- Read the manual
- Read all menu screens on camera
- Bring your manual with you when shooting
- Take lots of photos
- But don't shoot carelessly, quality not quantity
- It's ok to use "Program" or "Auto" mode
- Don't be afraid to experiment
- Print your photos so you can see details
- Don't get restrained in rules, get creative!

Nine Dos and Don’ts for the New Camera Buyer
